Isaac’s Band of Brothers & Sisters (otherwise known as “The Band”) has won an award for Excellence in Innovation in Inclusion at the ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Awards.  The Band is comprised of Isaac’s family, friends and neighbours and they helped set up Isaac Delivers.  They also support Isaac to achieve his other goals for a good life.

The awards recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations that promote inclusion our community and were held at the National Museum of Australia.  Tim Ferguson was the Master of Ceremonies and he quite rightly pointed out that if Isaac couldn’t be free to be who he on this night, then where could he.  What a great bloke Tim is.  [Read more…] about The Band Wins ACT Chief Minister’s Inclusion Award
